Dave has been wanting to check out the East Providence Yacht Club once he heard they serve up really good stuffies and it overlooks the Seekonk river where it empties into Narragansett Bay. In my head the words “yacht club” conjure up an image of wealthy patrons in blazers and summer dresses drinking wine spritzers and gin martinis but hey we are talking east providence here. The place is great, VERY unpretentious and the stuffies were pretty good. Although I liked the $2.50 ‘Gansett draughts even better. Today’s September weather was fantastic as you can see in the photos.
